Restless

Have you ever been so restless?
When you feel so sleepy and your eyes are so damn heavy
But then you find yourself staring  at the ceiling all night long
The clock is ticking and it makes you nervous
As if you are racing with the dawn
It's so frustrating

Have you ever been so restless?
When you feel very exhausted
And your body needs a good rest after a long long tiring day
But then your mind does not want to compromise
And prefers to wander around
It's so depressing

Have your ever been so restless?
When you think you have an unsolved problem
And you have to find a way out before it's killing you
But in fact, everything goes perfectly
No debt to pay
No obligation to take
It's so weary

Perhaps sleeping is an easy activity but for me, it really needs a big effort.
That's why I do envy this child. She sleeps peacefully.
